70 per cent rise in number of kids with sexually abusive behaviour

CHILDREN as young as four are being treated in Victoria for exhibiting sexually concerning behaviours.
The number of children presenting to sexual abuse services across the state for harmful behaviour has soared by 70 per cent in just four years — more than 1500 kids in the past year alone.
Figures obtained by the Herald Sun show a sharp rise in Victorian kids presenting to Sexually Abusive Behaviour Treatment Services — from 881 in the 2014 financial year to 1502 this past financial year.
While all children showed sexually abusive behaviour — mostly against their own siblings — many were also victims of sexual abuse.
