For the fifth time since July 2017, new charges have been filed against a former School District 300 substitute teacher accused of sexually abusing children, according to Kane County court records.

Two additional underage victims have come forward to accuse Carlos Bedoya, 63, of Lake in the Hills, of assaults that reportedly took place between Aug. 1, 2016, and Dec. 31, 2017, according to court records. The additional charges are seven counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse against a minor under the age of 13, class 2 felonies, and two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child under the age of 13, Class X felonies, records showed.
